Artist's Statement 2010's (My 40s)

Something shifted and I started using much more vibrant colours. I turned away from directly engaging with political themes and dove into the pure elements of abstraction - colour, form, energy. My work got more optimistic, more alive. I was focused on the visual experience itself. The simplification became almost meditative - a recurring practice of distilling experience down to its essence, finding clarity in a world that never stopped being complicated.
